SPECIAL ROUTINES
DAD & DAUGHTER ROUTINE
We invite our Dance Dads (or other adult male relative) to perform with their DanceCat in a special, “Stranger Things”-themed routine at the Spring Dance Recital on June 10, 2023.
DANCER REQUIREMENTS

Dancers ages 5+ currently participating in the Spring Dance Recital & their Dad (or uncle, grandpa, other adult male relative, etc). Siblings can be added for a fee to form a Trio.

Pair / Trio must be able to attend at least 4 out of 7 rehearsals. See rehearsal schedule below.
PERFORMANCE DETAILS

Dancers/Dads will perform in the same show as their other routine(s): SHOW 1 at 2:00 pm, SHOW 2 at 3:15 pm, or SHOW 3 at 4:30 pm on Saturday, June 10 at Pinecrest Academy - Sloan Canyon.

Dancers/Dads also must attend a Dress Rehearsal / Picture Day during the evening of Friday, June 9, also at Pinecrest. Exact times in recital packet.
COST
$75 per Dancer/Dad pair - includes Dancer costume
*Dads will need to provide own Hawaiian / print shirt.
+$40 per sibling Dancer added - includes costume

REHEARSAL DATES / TIMES / LOCATIONS
Dancer/Dad Pairs (Trios) must attend at least 4 out of 7 rehearsals. Wear athletic attire, tennis shoes, tie back long hair, remove jewelry, bring water. All rehearsals take place in the upstairs studio.

The Production Number is the final routine of the Spring Dance Recital and a great way to try out the dance program without the long-term commitment of a class! This year’s recital will revisit iconic DanceCats routines from the past decade, therefore we will revisit the 2018 Production routine performed in remembrance of former gymnast Brooklynn Mohler, who’s life was tragically ended 10 years ago.
DANCER REQUIREMENTS

Dancers ages 9+ who are ready to tell a story through movement in the style of lyrical / contemporary.

Production dancers will perform in Show 3 at 4:30 pm & Show 4 at 5:45 pm on Saturday, June 10 at Pinecrest Academy - Sloan Canyon.
